It’s been a while since we sent out our last newsletter and news update. So let’s go: there is readily available news all about us and our work.
Webinars with great guests from Atlassian
Our interactive webinars on digital collaboration start off the new year. In the upcoming days, we will have two guests from Atlassian on our live sessions. On February 7, I will talk with Sherif Mansour (Principal Product Manager) about Codeyard and Atlassian Home. On February 21, I agreed to meet with Wendell Keuneman (Head of Confluence) to discuss Confluence, the vision, the past and some industry trends. Are you going to be there too?
Industry references of intranet projects?
“Before we introduce your intranet product, show me intranet reference projects from my industry!” This is often heard by customers when we advise them about Confluence-based Linchpin intranets. It sounds like a sensible request on the surface. However, it is not particularly helpful or effective, for three reasons.
Linchpin Touch: Intranet for the entire organization
Social intranet systems should help as many employees in the company as possible and offer extra value, even for those who do not have a computer work station. That’s why we are developing Linchpin Touch to really roll out the intranet throughout the organization.
Our diagramming solution for Confluence is now the one with the most active installations. The growing success is due not only to the first-class product itself, but also to the marketing efforts of our small draw.io team. The new draw.io portal offers everything you need to know as an interested customer: features, demos, tutorials, FAQs, etc.
How we got past the death of internal email
We have killed our internal email – and we did not even consciously realize its exact time of death. But how we accomplished this is easy to understand. Atlassian software played a central role.
New version of Microblogging for Confluence
In version 2.5, we’ve added a completely new sidebar for searching, subscribing and filtering. With this new release, Microblogging for Confluence provides additional customization options for your personal microblog timeline, making it much easier to find relevant posts, and enables a new way to stay on top of new microblog posts.
Let’s finish with three short questions (and detailed answers) about corporate intranets:
- How to plan a social intranet in a large company? Here are some thought about the challenges.
- Will a large feature checklist lead you to the perfect intranet solution for your organization? Definitely not. Read how companies fail in choosing intranet software.
- How can you keep employees engaged in an intranet? Here are tips and best practices to increase intranet adoption.
