Our development teams are intensively developing Linchpin for Confluence Server and Data Center as well as working on bringing you Linchpin Cloud. Now, we bring you the newest version of the software: Linchpin Intranet Suite Version 4.1. Here is an overview of the new features and functionality:
Easier news tile configuration
Linchpin Enterprise News provides you with the most important communication and news channels in the Intranet. With Enterprise News, you can work on bringing your colleagues all the latest news even more efficiently. You can also enjoy the new feature - Live Preview - when editing your news tiles. No more updating of the page or switching to another screen to view changes. Make all changes on-the-fly with the preview.
Improved Events View
Events in Linchpin helps bring people in your organization together - be it in-person or remote. You can use Linchpin Events to organize all kinds of events - from workshops to team days and company parties. Linchpin Intranet Suite 4.1 brings you the improved Events Calendar, now with Monthly, Weekly, and Daily view to have a better overview of upcoming dates. You can add the Event Calendar macro to any Intranet page you choose. You and your colleagues can use the calendar to check out all the events at a glance, without having to open a new page.
With the new release, there is also an alternative to an image in the upper area of an event view. Instead, we can now define a background image that fills the entire view, which is sure to be an eye-catcher!
Structural Org Charts with user display
Using Organizational charts with your intranet create more visibility and help visualize hierarchical structures. A new feature here is the structural org charts, which make it possible to display structures such as teams, departments, or locations in automatically generated diagrams. Not only that, but it can also display the associated employees.
Chart nodes can be linked to user profile fields and thus displayed with users filtered by various profile fields using AND and OR operators.
