How Scrum Masters Work as Agile Coaches Within the Company
The Scrum development framework assigns a entire series of very specific tasks and responsibilities to the Scrum Master within a team. However, in many companies the Scrum Masters do something quite different. Our colleagues always ask us what we actually do. To answer these questions, I have written a series of blog posts.

The 6th instalment of our Tools4AgileTeams conference is already looming on the horizon. It is on 30 November and 1 December, and as usual, in Wiesbaden. We return to the rooms of the IHK Wiesbaden, after having a good experience with them last year.

Workplace by Facebook: Workplace, Social Intranet or Social Network? (II)
Last year, Facebook started offering a business solution called, Workplace by Facebook. It’s a variation of the social network of the same name, but for use in the office. Companies can easily register, calculate costs, and quickly get up and running.

The mobile app for Linchpin intranets helps such employees in real-life situations get necessary information quickly and easily. This can benefit the entire organization in several ways.

With the introduction and development of an enterprise wiki, like Confluence, the adaptation to individual corporate design can bring value to companies and, most of all, to employees.
Does a Distributed Workplace Work? Well, It Depends
For more than a year now, I have been working for //SEIBERT/MEDIA from home at a distance of about 250km. Can agile software development work like this? Can Scrum processes be maintained, despite the distance? Will I fall out of sync with the team? Right now, I can say yes, it does work!
