An intranet without event management? Unthinkable. Especially in a Confluence-based intranet. To help you organize (and participate in) events in your Linchpin intranet even better, we’re introducing a new feature in October: Timeslots for events! By the way, this feature was requested by some Linchpin users via Canny. This leads us to the question: Canny build it?! Yes, yes we can.
The Easy Events RSVP app has very successfully allowed many of our customers to manage their events directly in Confluence and in the Confluence-based Linchpin social intranet suite. Easy Events has been on the Atlassian Marketplace for five years now! In light of this anniversary, we will be giving the app a complete refresh and a new name: Linchpin Events. We’d like to let you know what we have in store and build a little excitement and anticipation around the upcoming release.

Even though the modern workplace with all its tools is extremely digital – paper lives on and is used in many situations. In many cases, a paper list of participants is simply more practical and faster during the actual company event. Easy Events now lets you export participant lists in CSV format, and print them directly to paper.
Events are just as varied as companies – from 15 minute weekly du jour fixes through to events that run over several days. Easy Events for Confluence now supports long events, those that run over multiple days.
