We’ve been hard at work consistently developing and updating Linchpin, our Confluence-based social intranet solution, ever since its original launch. Katja Weingärtner, solution owner for Linchpin joined Jimena Martini in an interview where she talked about what the Linchpin development teams have been working on lately.
Our teams develop the Linchpin Intranet Suite, a collection of Confluence apps that modernize your company’s intranet system. We’ve updated the navigation throughout the system and added a handy configuration dashboard to make it easier to set up Linchpin in your company.
The app Linchpin Theme allows you adapt the look of your Confluence instance, Confluence-based intranet and extranet systems, or individual areas with individual themes and customization options without the need for re-programming. Here’s an overview of the improvements and new features made in version 2.12 of Linchpin Theme.
The Linchpin User Profiles app expands native Confluence user profiles – contextually, visually and technically. Our development team has just released version 2.9 of Linchpin User Profiles including new export functions, visual improvements, performance enhancements, and other small changes.
Successfully launching a new social intranet takes hard work, persistence and grit. But the uphill battle is one worth fighting, and revolutionary scientists are the historical, tried-and-tested proof of the incredible advances that can be made by meeting initial and ongoing resistance with unwavering determination to create progress.
